New Girl is a show about a girl who moves into an apartment with three guys.

This episode had Jess meet a rich guy whom she immediately doesn't like. He wants his daughter to have a tutor rather than have any creative time. This makes Jess angry but she's forced to apologize for screaming at him because he donates a lot of money to the school. She does her best to hate him for being rich but eventually agrees to go on a date with him. Nick, meanwhile, has to deal with the fact that no-one will give him a phone because his credit score is too low. I'm not sure why he can't buy the disposable mobile phones. Winston is annoyed at Schmidt for knowing a lot of trivia answers and because he thinks that Shelby will think he's an idiot. Shelby doesn't care if Winston knows trivia answers and they kiss while Schmidt keeps talking. It looks like they are now officially a couple. I do love how Schmidt memorizes a lot of trivial information.

This episode was generally very funny. Each scene made me laugh out loud at least once, which is always great. There were some jokes that missed, but not enough to bring down the episode. I think that this episode was pretty good although I'm not sure why made this a two-parter. It felt very self-contained for an episode that is supposedly setting up the first half of an episode. There were some story lines left hanging but not enough to warrant a part one.
