iCarly
is a show about a girl who does a weekly webcast with her two best
friends. It runs on Nickelodeon.

Ahoy!
“iAm
Your Biggest Fan” is an episode that manages to work effectively
because of the show's premise. It isn't a completely original idea,
but it's one that the series manages to actually use well. That is
the idea of having a crazy fan that starts to stalk the protagonists.
It starts out innocently enough by allowing her to come to the show
and be a one-person live studio audience. She seems friendly enough
when she cooks the iCarly gang some cookies in the shape of their
faces. Her obsession starts to become worrisome for our heroes when
she refuses to leave and even transfers schools to be with them. It
does stretch credibility that her parents and aunt would allow her
behavior or that she would be in the actual same school as them. She
looks to be in elementary school while our main characters seem to be
in middle or high school. The episode resolves itself when the fan
becomes obsessed with a band that had used Spencer in the sub-plot.
While the sub-plot is nothing special to speak of, it ended up
serving a purpose to the main plot of the episode.
“iHeart
Art” is an episode that centers more on Spencer and his desire to
be an artist. When his idol sees Spencer's work and insults it,
Spencer gives up on his dream to become an artist. He doesn't care
what most people have to say about his art, but he gives a lot of
credence to what his idol has to say. His idol is obviously jealous
and it's revealed by the end of the episode, but it's a plot that
manages to show just how important Spencer's silly sculptures are to
the character himself. While the episode largely uses his art for
comic relief, they are very important to him. Even the sub-plot
explored Sam's character more by having her try to not insult Freddie
for most of the episode. This becomes more difficult since Freddie
tries his best to goad Sam into insulting him. “iHeart Art” isn't
any funnier than it's previous episode but it is a more effective
episode in that it keeps it's focus within the main characters and
develops them rather than focus on just one character we'll never see
again.
