Episode 4: Tell Me No Lies

Missing is a series about an ex-CIA agent who uses her skills to track her kidnapped son.

In this week's episode, we find out who may be behind Michael's kidnapping-his father! Paul is alive and well, a twist that only caught me by surprise since I wasn't expecting it until later. I also don't believe yet that Paul is behind the kidnapping or that he's dirty, as the show would like us to believe. This episode also has Becca seek out her old mentor for help, Martin Newman who is a former agent but now an illustrious author!* He's the one who tells Becca that Paul is dirty, which leads me to believe that Martin is actually dirty. I'm suspicious of him. The other plot of the week has to do with Michael. He tries to escape once again but discovers that his captors have no plan of hurting him. They plan to hurt Oksana every time he tries to escape. Now what else is he going to do to pass the time? This was a mediocre episode that didn't have much action and too many flashback sequences-including flashback sequences to scenes from the pilot.
