Episode 15: Origins
Mini-Review
By: Carlos Uribe
Nikita is a show
about a spy bringing down a roque government agency.
Spoilers Ahoy!
You know what
Nikita is really good at? Making me want to see the next episode
immediately. I don't want to wait weeks to see the next episode and
that is frustrating. This episode reveals the origins of Division and
reveals that Carla knew about Ari and Amanda. She thought Ari was
just a government employee and not a Russian agent, which is why she
didn't think it was important. Alex, meanwhile, reveals to the world
that she is still alive but this leads to her life being put in
danger by Gogol. A lot of twists happen but she manages to escape.
Percy also finds out the truth about Amanda and Ari but it's unknown
when he plans to use the information. It's also extremely good in
that Carla may be on Team Nikita when it comes down to taking down
Amanda, but she's on Team Percy when it comes to giving Percy
Division back. She still believes the program can be saved and this
only adds yet another complication to the Nikita scene.
This was a really
good episode. It didn't just add a complication and set up an
effective cliff-hanger, but is also moved the Alex storyline very
well. She's back to planning on taking back Zetrov after Semak tried
to have her killed, and she made that intention public. That was a
declaration of war. It also had some really great action scenes but
that's to be expected from Nikita. Honestly, if you're missing this
show, then you're missing one of the best shows on television right
now.
